Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms before using Snapkoo.

1. Welcome to Snapkoo

Welcome to Snapkoo ("Snapkoo", "we", "us", or "our").

Snapkoo is a platform where people can write messages they never sent to someone.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Snapkoo website, applications, features, and services.

By accessing or using Snapkoo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use Snapkoo.

2. How Snapkoo Works

Snapkoo allows a person to leave an "Unsent" for another Snapkoo user.

  1. A user opens another person's Snapkoo profile.
  2. The user provides their name.
  3. The user selects an Unsent category.
  4. The user writes a message.
  5. The user can preview the Unsent.
  6. The Unsent is submitted to the recipient.
Important: An Unsent is not a normal chat message. The recipient can know who left the Unsent, while the actual words are designed to remain hidden.

3. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum age required to use online services under the laws applicable to you.

If you are not legally permitted to use Snapkoo in your location, you must not use the service.

By using Snapkoo, you represent that you meet the applicable age and legal requirements.

4. Your Account

Certain Snapkoo features may require you to create an account.

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information.
  • Keep your account information up to date.
  • Keep your login credentials secure.
  • Not share your account with another person in a way that violates these Terms.
  • Not impersonate another person.

5. Your Responsibility for Unsents

You are responsible for anything you submit through Snapkoo.

Before leaving an Unsent, make sure that your message is appropriate and that you are comfortable associating your name with it.

You must not use Snapkoo to submit content that:

  • Threatens or intimidates another person.
  • Harasses, bullies, or repeatedly targets another person.
  • Contains hateful or discriminatory content.
  • Contains sexually explicit content where prohibited by law or our policies.
  • Encourages violence or illegal activity.
  • Attempts to scam, defraud, or manipulate another person.
  • Contains malicious code, links, or other harmful material.
  • Deliberately impersonates another person.
  • Infringes another person's intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Contains personal or confidential information that you do not have permission to share.
Remember: The fact that an Unsent is hidden does not make harmful, abusive, or illegal content acceptable.

6. No Anonymous Messaging

Snapkoo is not designed as an anonymous messaging service.

When leaving an Unsent, you provide your name. The recipient may be shown the name associated with the Unsent.

The idea is simple: They know who left something, but they don't see what you wrote.

7. Hidden Messages

The actual contents of an Unsent are intended to remain hidden from the recipient.

Unsent means unsent

Snapkoo is designed around the idea that the recipient can know something was written without receiving the actual words.

You should therefore not use an Unsent as a replacement for an urgent communication, emergency message, legal notice, or any communication where the recipient needs to receive the actual information.

8. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, restrict, remove, or disable access to content or accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms, applicable law, or the safety of our users.

We may take action including:

  • Removing submitted content
  • Restricting account functionality
  • Suspending an account
  • Terminating an account
  • Blocking access to Snapkoo

We may also cooperate with law enforcement or other authorities where required by applicable law.

9. Prohibited Use

You may not use Snapkoo to:

  • Break or violate applicable laws.
  • Abuse, harass, threaten, or stalk another person.
  • Create accounts using deceptive identities for harmful purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account.
  • Interfere with the operation or security of Snapkoo.
  • Scrape, copy, or systematically collect user information without permission.
  • Upload malicious software or harmful code.
  • Circumvent security or access restrictions.
  • Use automated systems to abuse or overload the service.

10. User Content

You retain ownership of content that you submit to Snapkoo, subject to the rights necessary for us to operate the service.

By submitting content, you grant Snapkoo the limited permission necessary to store, process, display, and otherwise handle that content as required to provide and protect the service.

You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that doing so does not violate another person's rights or applicable law.

11. Intellectual Property

Snapkoo and its original content, branding, design, logos, graphics, software, and functionality are owned by or licensed to Snapkoo and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit Snapkoo's content or functionality without our prior written permission.

12. Privacy

Your use of Snapkoo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

13. Third-Party Services

Snapkoo may depend on third-party services such as hosting, databases, email delivery, authentication, analytics, or security services.

We are not responsible for interruptions, failures, or policies of third-party services outside our reasonable control.

14. Availability of Snapkoo

We aim to keep Snapkoo available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be:

  • Available
  • Uninterrupted
  • Error-free
  • Secure from every possible threat

We may temporarily suspend or modify features for maintenance, security, upgrades, or other operational reasons.

15. Disclaimer

Snapkoo is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that Snapkoo will meet every user's expectations or that every feature will operate without interruption or error.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Snapkoo and its owners, employees, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your use of or inability to use Snapkoo.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

17. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to Snapkoo if we reasonably believe that you:

  • Violated these Terms
  • Misused the service
  • Created a security or safety risk
  • Engaged in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Attempted to harm other users or Snapkoo

You may also stop using Snapkoo at any time.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as Snapkoo evolves.

When we make significant changes, we may update the date shown at the top of this page and provide additional notice where required. Your continued use of Snapkoo after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Snapkoo operates, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Any disputes will be subject to the applicable courts and legal processes permitted by law.
