Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 1 January 2026 · Governing law: India
1 Who can use Snapkoo
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Snapkoo account. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
By using Snapkoo you represent that all information you provide is accurate, that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and that you will use the platform in compliance with these terms and all applicable laws.
2 Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You may not create accounts on behalf of someone else or impersonate another person.
- You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension or ban.
- You can delete your account at any time from the settings page. On deletion, your profile and perception data are permanently removed.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these terms, with or without prior notice.
3 How anonymous perceptions work
The core mechanic of Snapkoo is anonymous perception. When a visitor opens your profile link and selects perception tags, we record only the tag IDs and your user ID — no visitor identity, device fingerprint, or IP address is permanently linked to a specific submission.
However, you acknowledge and agree that:
- No anonymity system is 100% guaranteed. You should not use Snapkoo to send perceptions that you would be uncomfortable being associated with if anonymity were ever breached.
- Snapkoo is not liable for any harm arising from a visitor choosing to reveal their own submission to you voluntarily.
- We may review aggregate submission data for safety, legal compliance, or platform improvement purposes, without identifying individual senders.
4 Your profile & content
Your profile — including your name, bio, occupation, and profile photo — is publicly visible to anyone who visits your profile URL. Do not include in your public profile any information you are not comfortable sharing openly.
- Your profile photo must be a genuine representation of you or a neutral image. It must not depict nudity, violence, or illegal content.
- Your bio and occupation fields must not contain personal contact details, links to external websites used for commercial gain, or any prohibited content described in Section 7.
- You retain ownership of the content you post, but you grant Snapkoo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it within the platform for the purpose of providing the service.
5 Perception tags (your Word Set)
Your Word Set is the list of tags that visitors use to describe you. You can use the system-provided global tags and add your own custom tags. Custom tags must:
- Be genuinely descriptive words or short phrases about personality, character, or perception.
- Not contain profanity, slurs, sexual content, or targeted insults directed at a third party.
- Not be used to solicit specific responses or manipulate survey-style data for commercial or research purposes without our written consent.
6 Visitor submissions
Visitors do not need an account to send a perception. By submitting a perception on Snapkoo, a visitor agrees that:
- Their submission is an honest personal perception and not an attempt to harm, harass, or mislead the profile owner.
- They will not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to send bulk or fake perceptions.
- Snapkoo is not responsible for the content of perceptions — they are the sole responsibility of the visitor who submitted them.
If you receive perceptions that feel targeted or harassing, use the Report feature on the relevant profile or contact us directly.
7 Prohibited behaviour
You must not use Snapkoo to:
- Harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten any person.
- Impersonate another person or create a profile using someone else's name, photo, or identity without their consent.
- Attempt to de-anonymise perception senders through technical or social means.
- Distribute spam, phishing links, or malware through profile links or tag content.
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform data for commercial purposes.
- Interfere with the platform's infrastructure, attempt unauthorised access, or reverse-engineer any part of the service.
- Use the platform in any way that violates applicable Indian law or international law.
8 Reporting & moderation
Any user can report a profile using the Report button. Reports are reviewed manually. We will take action — which may include content removal, account suspension, or a permanent ban — on reports that we determine violate these terms.
We are not obligated to act on every report, and our moderation decisions are final. We do not disclose the outcome of reports to the reporting party.
If you believe a report about your account was made in bad faith or in error, contact us at hello@snapkoo.com.
9 Intellectual property
The Snapkoo name, logo, design, system-provided tag library, and all underlying software are the exclusive property of Snapkoo and its developers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our prior written consent.
Content you create — your custom tags, profile text, and photos — remains yours. You are not granting us the right to sell or sublicence your personal content to third parties.
10 Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Snapkoo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the platform will meet your specific expectations.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Snapkoo and its team shall not be liable for:
- Emotional distress caused by perception content submitted by other users or visitors.
- Loss of data resulting from account deletion, technical failure, or circumstances beyond our control.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
11 Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app.
Your continued use of Snapkoo after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with a change, you should stop using the platform and delete your account.
